I love sugar scrubs because they are more gentle and more hydrating than salt scrubs. The smaller, rounder granules are even gentle enough for your face! Sugar is a natural humectant, meaning it draws moisture from the environment into the skin. Therefore it helps hydrate your skin and keep moisture within. I craft my sugar scrubs with organic minimally processed sugar and apricot oil. I use apricot oil because it is less greasy feeling and it is full of omega fatty acids and vitamins to nourish your skin! Apricot seed oil contains gamma linoleic acid that is useful to firm and tone your skin. It also has Vitamin A and E which soothe and slow down the aging process.
This is my super detox blend! I added activated charcoal and a blend of essential oils known to help detoxify your skin! Toxins stick to activated charcoal, making it a good deep cleanser and detoxifier. It’s completely all-natural. I use lavender, peppermint, pine, lemon, and orange essential oils. Not only will this exfoliate your skin, it will clean out your pores, helping to make them smaller.
You will receive a 4 oz mason jar.
Just a love note for those who have never worked with activated charcoal before- it can be messy! I recommend using it in the shower before using soap.
