Seidr Rune Candle~
Seidr is old Norse shamanism. The runes are gifts of divination from Odin. He hung in Yggdrasil for 9 days and sacrificed his eye to the well of Mimir gain knowledge of the runes. Rune itself translates to mystery. What mysteries will you uncover with in your candle?
This candle has three runes, 2 inside and one on top. It's also topped with a smoky quartz point and mugwort. The runes are carved on both clear quartz and amethyst tumble stones. Each candle contains a mixture of both. Included is a list of the meaning of all the runes.
The notes in my Seidr candle are cedarwood, pine, and bergamot. Earthy and woodsy like the forests to the North. Cedarwood is not only grounding, it is cleansing and clearing. Pine is for protection, purification, and divination. Spiritually, bergamot provides protection, prosperity, and happiness. It also helps to instill inner confidence and courage, by igniting trust in the Divine. I topped this candle with mugwort, traditionally burned by the Norse while divining. There is also a smoky quartz point to remove any negativity.
These are all natural candles. Hand poured from pure local beeswax and finished with wood wicks. I scent my candles with essential oils and I top them with corresponding herbs, gemstone chips, and glitter for a touch of color. You'll also find a little charm attached! Charms vary.
There are NO paraffins, NO synthetic
fragrance, and NO harmful chemicals!

This is an 8 oz mason jar candle. Burn time is approximately 40-50 hours.
These candles are handmade in small batches so slight variances may occur.
